House of Ranjit is a 2026 founded house. We have nothing to hide and nothing yet to overstate. Here is exactly what we hold, what we are applying for, and what is on the roadmap.
The Government of India's official authenticity mark for 100% natural silk.
Ministry of Textiles certification for genuine handloom-produced textiles.
Internal supplier standards used for onboarding, order review and buyer documentation where applicable.
Global Organic Textile Standard, trader-level chain-of-custody certification.
World Fair Trade Organization guaranteed member status.
Independent certification of social & environmental performance.
Many of our partner workshops independently hold certifications we can passthrough at the lot level. These are workshop-level, not company-level — but they apply to the product you receive.
Tested for harmful substances. Held by our Karnataka mulberry workshops.
Geographical Indication — official protected status for Banarasi silk.
Geographical Indication for Assam Muga silk.
Jamdani weaving inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
We supplement workshop certifications with our own independent lab testing. Verified trade accounts may request the most recent test report for any product or production lot.
