The mark of a real silk quilt is the fibre length. Cheap factory quilts use chopped or blended fill that mats within a season. Our quilts are hand-stretched in layers from long, continuous strands of pure Karnataka mulberry floss — the same source as our pillowcase fabric.
The cover is a 350-thread-count cotton sateen with hidden satin-stitch baffling to hold the fill in even layers through years of use.
